The hauge sounds cushy for a prison...The 47 suspects currently there are held in individual cells of 17-by-10 feet, fitted with a shower, toilet, wash basin and desk. They receive the regular array of Dutch, German, Belgian and French television channels as well as satellite reception in their own language. They can take courses in arts, languages or sciences. Detainees spend most of their time outside their rooms and share a gym, outdoor courtyard, library and a recreation room for darts, pingpong and board games. They have access to a doctor, nurse and psychiatrist. Milosevic, the highest profile detainee of the 161 indicted suspects, had access to a special office equipped with phones, computers, filing cabinets and facilities for confidential interviews. Prisoners receive three meals a day and eat by themselves. They can see visitors as often as they wish, and in private if they are married.
